Welcome!

Welcome to Canton Intermediate School! I am excited and feel honored to serve our community as principal at CIS for the 2022-2023 school year. I have had the opportunity and have enjoyed meeting and engaging with parents, students, community members and faculty. Working with stakeholders provides insight, allows me to feel a sense of pride, and motivates me to continue to work collaboratively in an effort to meet the needs of all students. My goal as principal is to provide the type of leadership that will facilitate a safe school environment where everyone shows respect and school pride. Working together, I am confident that we will continue to provide our students with an enriching school experience. I look forward to all of the challenges that come with our mission of empowering students to become lifelong learners committed to academic excellence, integrity, responsible citizenship and service to others. If at any time you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. At CIS, we believe in an open door policy and I will do my best to make myself available to address any questions or concerns that may occur throughout the year.
