Welcome to Mrs. Irwin's Reading Intervention Class!

Hello, I'm so excited you're here! My name is Sharon Irwin, and I'll be your child's Dyslexia teacher. This is my 25th year in education. I graduated from Lubbock Christian University with a Bachelors in Business (Pre-Law), and a Masters in Elementary Education. I previously taught 5th/6th grade Reading in Terrell, 2nd/3rd grade (self-contained and Math) in Wills Point, and 4th grade Math here in Canton.

 

I'm married to a Dallas Firefighter (Brady), have a daughter, Bella, who is 16 (junior), and a son, Liam, who is 13 (7th grade). We have 2 Great Danes, named CharlieAnn and SmokyBear, as well as, a Frenchie named Frank! I love to read, listen to music, go to movies, travel, and best of all, hang out with my family & friends!!  I am looking forward to a great year, and getting to know you and your family!
