Welcome to Mrs. Irwin's Dyslexia Class!

Hello, I'm so excited you're here! My name is Sharon Irwin, and I'll be your child's Dyslexia teacher. This is my 27th year in education. I graduated from Lubbock Christian University with a Bachelors in Business (Pre-Law), and a Masters in Elementary Education. I previously taught 5th/6th grade Reading in Terrell, 2nd/3rd grade (self-contained and Math) in Wills Point, and 4th grade Math here in Canton.

 

I'm married to a Dallas Firefighter, named Brady. We have a daughter, Bella, who will be in her 2nd year playing golf for TJC Apaches starting back in a few weeks. My son, Liam will be a sophomore at Lindale High School and plays golf there. In the past, we have had Great Danes, chickens, guineas, and an Italian Greyhound. We currently have a Frenchie named Frank, and a cat named Callie. I love to read my Kindle, go to concerts & movies, play pickleball, travel, and best of all, hang out with my family and friends!!  I am looking forward to a great year, and getting to know you and your family!
