About Miss Sanders

Hi everyone! I’m Ms. Sanders, and I’m so excited to be your 5th grade math and social studies teacher this year!

 

I’m originally from Texas, and I just returned from spending a year in Spain, where I worked as an au pair while learning Spanish. It was such a fun and eye-opening experience, and it reminded me how powerful learning can be when it connects to real life.

 

I have a bachelor’s degree in Math and Science Education, a master’s in Instruction and Curriculum, and a teaching certification. More importantly, I love working with students and creating a classroom where everyone feels welcomed, challenged, and celebrated for who they are.

 

When I’m not teaching, you might find me listening to music, drawing, or exploring new places!
