About Mrs. Clower

It is going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventures. I cannot wait to see what the year has in store for us! However, I thought you might like to know a little about me.

I am married to a wonderful husband, Casey, and together we have two sons.  Blake is in 9th grade this year and Brady is a senior at the high school.  We attend church at the First Baptist Church in Canton.  I like to spend my free time watching my boys play sports, fishing, or going to the deer lease. I am definitely a boy mom! However, I do love plants and gardening as well!

I grew up in Whitehouse, Texas and attended college at University of Texas at Tyler. I have taught in several school districts including Tyler, Plano, Whitehouse and Canton (which I plan on staying). I wouldn’t want my boys to go to school anywhere else! 

I just completed my 19th year of teaching and couldn’t see myself doing anything else. I've taught first grade and kindergarten for many years before moving to the art room. This will be my third year as the art teacher at both the elementary and intermediate school campuses! I love teaching art, because it is a place students can let go of the day's stresses and let their creative side show. With teaching at both campuses, I do see a lot of students! Being able to touch so many young lives makes teaching an unbelievably rewarding profession.

 I look forward to a great year together! It's going to be a little messy but a lot of fun!
