Welcome to Ms. Morris's Class

Hello! My name is Amy Morris, and I am excited to welcome you to our third-grade classroom!

I am a proud 1997 graduate of Canton High School and feel incredibly blessed to live and teach in the community I call home. I attend First Baptist Church of Canton, and in my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have two wonderful daughters, Kati and Laci.

I graduated from The University of Texas at Tyler in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (grades 1–8). This school year marks my 26th year in education. I spent my first five years teaching at Southside Elementary in Mabank before returning home to Canton, where I am beginning my 21st year. This year, I am excited to teach third-grade math, science, and social studies.

I look forward to partnering with you to help your child learn, grow, and have a successful school year. Here's to a fantastic year together!
