We are thrilled to share that 4th Grade student Leah Boothe has been selected as the CIS Student of the Week for October. Leah is the daughter of Sarah Boothe and Cory Boothe and has been a student at CIS since 3rd Grade. Leah is in the classrooms of Witherspoon and Jackson, in the GT Program and attends Beach Club. Last school year, Leah participated in the first CIS Mock UIL Spelling Contest. In her free time she enjoys Art and Origami and when she grows up she wants to be a Veterinarian. An interesting fact about Leah is that she speaks a little bit of German. Leah is a kind and positive energy at CIS and in her own words “chose to soar!”
