Homework

Science homework is necessary when students do not finish work in the allotted time in class; the work is due the next day. Additionally, students need to develop good study habits and will be expected to study notes taken in class. We have a classroom set of textbooks that we use only as a resource. Everything he/she needs to know will be recorded during class as notes in the science journal (composition book). Therefore, it is important to study these for tests. Reading over notes from class each night is highly recommended and encouraged to promote success.

Science vocabulary must be studied regularly. We will learn many new vocabulary words to be used daily in class. Be sure to study and learn these as they are introduced in class, as knowing and speaking the language of science is a crucial part of success in class. Be prepared for frequent vocabulary quizzes!
